Military Diet: Lose 10 Pounds in Just 3 Days

In today’s article we are going to present you one of the most efficient diet regiments that will provide you amazing results. If you want to lose weight in short period of time, the Military diet is perfect choice for you.

If you want to lose the extra weight, you need to stick to the rules. There are certain exceptions such as replacing the meat with lentils or one veggie instead of another.

During this diet you should use non-caloric sweeteners. Foods and beverages allowed in this diet are: tea, black coffee, water, cooking spray (that does not stick), mustard, spices and lemon juice.

The Military diet lasts only 3 days and during this time you can expect to lose up to 10 pounds. If you are not satisfied by the results and you want to lose more weight you can follow this regimen again after 4-day break.


Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, slice of toast, a cup of coffee or tea and 2 tbs. of peanut butter.

Lunch: ½ tuna, cup of coffee or tea and a slice of toast.

Dinner: 3oz of meat with a cup of green beans, cup of ice cream, ½ a banana and an apple.


Breakfast: 1 egg, ½ a banana and a slice of toast.

Lunch: 1 boiled egg, cup of cottage cheese and 5 crackers.

Dinner: 2 hot dogs (without the bun), ½ cup of carrots, ½ banana, cup of broccoli and ½ cup of ice cream (vanilla).


Breakfast: 1 apple, 5 crackers and a slice of quality cheddar cheese.

Lunch: 1 slice of toast and 1 cooked or boiled egg.

Dinner: 1 cup of tuna, ½ a banana or some other fruit and a cup of ice cream (vanilla).

In order to get better results, you should include physical activity. You should perform exercises adequate for your activity level. For instance, overweight persons should walk around the neighborhood, but those people who are active can perform different exercises such as working on the treadmill, swimming, jumping rope, running or walking.

Patients who take medications and have certain medical issue should consult a doctor before start following this diet.
